Happy Birthday to Me!

It's official: just about three decades of life have passed me by. This was sure to be a depressing birthday...and maybe it's genetic because my uncle emailed me today to let me know he was terrifyingly depressed (followed by raging drunk) when he turned 29. The Outdoorsman was going to get me a fantabulous birthday present. President Obama will be in town doing a dinner event and tickets for students/young professionals are deeply discounted. I was going to get to see the man, himself. I passed because 1) it's at a bad time for me in the semester, and 2) I didn't want him to spend the money.
